It has been pointed out that there are more households out there than just the nuclear family of 4! So here is the version for just the two of you.
The Just For The Two Of You Pack is selected from our most popular meats. By thinking about what you buy from us, we are trying to make it easy for you to plan for a week's worth of meals and more besides (if you also make for the freezer). See below for our suggestions.
We have simplified this pack to a 3lb or 1.4kg of fresh chicken, which has been the most popular choice.
The full contents are:
- 500g Lean minced steak
- 2 Chicken breasts
- 2 Lamb chops
- 2 Boneless pork chops
- 2 6oz Beef burgers
With
- Approx. 3lb (1.4kg) chicken*** (see note below)
And Breakfast
- 4 Slices back bacon
- 6 Traditional chipolata sausages

Here is how your week could go:
Monday
Lean Minced Beef
What about making a bolognese, a chilli or meatballs with our fresh, lean mince? With 1 kg of mince, there should be some left over for the freezer. You could also try Mary Berry's remarkably easy Lasagne recipe (serves 6 so you can freeze the rest!).
Tuesday
Lamb Chops
Lovely. Grilled with garlic and rosemary or perhaps coated with a sauce? Or why not try Jamie Oliver's recipe for Sticky Lamb Chops?
Wednesday
Chicken Breasts
Keeping it lean, what about a great and healthy chicken salad with you fresh, English chicken breasts? Or perhaps a "Murgh" tikka curry to beat the curry house? Right now, we're loving Gordon Ramsay's recipe for Tray-Baked Chicken with Butter Beans, Leeks and Spinach!
Thursday
Boneless Pork Chops
These tend to work well grilled but try it with herbs such as fennel or herb and lemon to mix it up? Delicious. For a quick and easy recipe, try Jamie Oliver's Grilled Pork Chops.
Friday
Surely it has to be fish? Our meat is great but not every day! Balanced diet people!
Saturday
Beef Burgers
When I was a kids we used to have "if its" as in "if its burgers, you will be lucky!" Go on, knock yourself out with a lovely burger creation for a Saturday night, to beat Byrons! Pair with Mary Berry's Beetroot and Carrot Slaw recipe to make sure you're getting those veggies in!
Sunday Roast
And finally, of course, it is Sunday with a 3lb (1.4kg) fresh chicken for dinner with plenty left over for a sandwich or more in the week. Use Jamie Oliver's Perfect Roast Chicken recipe and you can't go wrong.
Any Day
We all deserve one, great English Breakfast in a week, don't we? Alpen or Special K all the rest of the time, obviously. Add in breakfast if you want!
